I grew up in Philipsburg, PA, a rural town outside of State College and the Penn State area. Living in the Black Moshannon State Park I loved doing anything and everything outdoors. Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking, and golf. Most of my life I pursued a career in motocross which took me to places I could never image and introduced me to many opportunities I would not have been exposed to in any other sport.

Racing motocross took me all over the country. I traveled from coast to coast racing amateur national events and the professional series for fourteen years. I started golfing in my spare time to slow down the loud, fast-paced lifestyle as a professional athlete. After retiring from motocross, golf turned into more than a hobby, it was a passion developed from similarities I took from the two sports. The natural landscape combined with man-made features create a beautiful, yet challenging experience to anyone participating or looking on. Motocross and golf really exposed my love for design and creativity. From a young age my doodles and drawings of motocross tracks and golf holes came to life and realized where my passion is.

I attended the Pennsylvania State University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture in May of 2021. I have a variety of design experience through multiple internships, time studying abroad, and course work with Penn State’s landscape architecture program. I am currently employed at PennTerra Engineering as part of the design team developing the central Pennsylvania region . I want to pursue my passion in golf or motocross through course design and construction.
